රු: 40000 /- කට ආසන්න මුදලක් වැයවුනු මෙම ව්‍යාපෘතිය සඳහා 2005 කන්ඩායමේ ඕෂධ වීරසේකර සොයුරාගේ පෞද්ගලික ධන පරිත්‍යාගය මූලිකව සිදුකෙරෙනු අතර ඒ සදහා ඉසුරු නාමල් හා ගයාන් නයනජිත් යන සොයුරන්ද දායකත්වය ලබා දුනි.

මෙම අවස්ථාව සදහා පාසල නියෝජනය කරමින් ගරු විදුහල්පතිතුමන්ද, රගර් ක්‍රීඩාව භාර ආචාර්ය තුමියද, ප්‍රධාන ආදි ශිෂ්‍ය සංගමයේ විධායක කමිටු සාමාජිකයින් ද, අවු 12 පහල රගර් කණ්ඩායමේ සාමාජිකයන් හා දෙමාපියන් සහභාගී වුනු අතර ආදි අසෝකීය රගර් කවය වෙනුවෙන් ඉදුනිල්, ඕෂධ වීරසේකර, ඉසුරු නාමල්, ජනිත් කාරියවසම්, චන්දිමාල් කාරියවසම් ඇතුලු පිරිස සහභාගී විය.

The Asoka Vidyalaya Old Boys Association, in collaboration with Asoka OBA Batch 2005 and former rugby players from Asoka College, generously donated 20 rugby match kits valued at Rs. 40,000 for the under-12 rugby players at the school. This event took place yesterday, September 15th, on the school premises, and was attended by Mr. Buddika Attanayake, the Principal of Asoka College, Ms. Sagarika Kulatunga, the Master in Charge, members of the Executive Committee of Asoka OBA, members of Batch 2005, several former rugby players from Asoka College, and the parents of the under-12 players.
